Ecosystem Ecology (Spring 2021)
This course focuses on how energy, water, carbon, and nutrients flow from abiotic components of the terrestrial system and cycle through plants, animals, and microbial communities. This course is designed to integrate Traditional Ecology Knowledge and STEM approaches to science.

Terrestrial Biogeochemistry (Spring 2021 & 2016)
This course explores how chemical, physical, geological, and biological processes and reactions govern the composition of the natural environment. The focus of this course will be on critical zone processes, with emphasis placed on lithosphere—pedosphere—atmosphere feedbacks.

Computer Applications in Biological Sciences (Spring, 2022)
This course provides a comprehensive orientation to the application of computers in biophysical systems, including GIS, SMS Farm Management Software, and basic data analysis in MS Excel.
